His book will be in stores on October 16th!
Here is the press release from Nick himself about Every Breath set in Sunset Beach, NC!
I’m thrilled to be able to share the news with you that my twentieth novel, Every Breath, is set to be released this fall on October 16! In the tradition of The Notebook and Nights in Rodanthe, my newest love story is about two characters who meet in a chance encounter one fateful weekend in Sunset Beach, North Carolina: Hope Anderson, born and raised in North Carolina, and Tru Walls – a safari guide born and raised in Zimbabwe – and the decades, continents, and bittersweet workings of fate that follow. I can’t wait for you to meet them.
In the coming months, I’ll be sending my mailing list subscribers an exclusive excerpt of Every Breath, sharing photos and stories from my recent African safari trips that inspired the character of Tru and offering up advance notice on a number of fun reader giveaways. Until then, I invite you to connect with me on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. While the book won’t be in stores for a few more months, you can pre-order your copy now!
We’ve got plenty of copies of Harper Lee’s “Go Set a Watchman” in store. They’re selling for $28 everywhere else, but we’re running a sale $21.95 for a copy!
Harper Lee’s Go Set a Watchman takes place in Maycomb, Alabama when Twenty-six-year-old Jean Louise Finch—”Scout”—returns home from New York City to visit her aging father, Atticus. Set against the backdrop of the civil rights tensions and political turmoil that were transforming the South, Jean Louise’s homecoming turns bittersweet when she learns disturbing truths about her close-knit family, the town, and the people dearest to her. Memories from her childhood flood back, and her values and assumptions are thrown into doubt. Featuring many of the iconic characters from To Kill a Mockingbird, Go Set a Watchman perfectly captures a young woman, and a world, in painful yet necessary transition out of the illusions of the past—a journey that can only be guided by one’s own conscience.

And for the best read on interplanetary travel that has been written in years, try “The Martian” by Andy Weir. We loved it.

We know what you’re going to ask and…yes!! Sue Monk Kidd’s The Invention of Wings, is every bit as good as the critics have reported. She also wrote The Secret Life of Bees, which is still a good seller in our store! This is definitely another one to read, go ahead and add it to your list!
